a. Audio Recordings

When you record a tap on a durian or upload an existing audio file, the file is temporarily uploaded to our secure servers for the sole purpose of ripeness classification. These audio files do not contain any personal information and are automatically deleted after processing.

b. Usage Data (Anonymous)

We may collect limited usage data (such as timestamp, file size, and classification result) to improve our machine learning model and ensure service stability. This data is aggregated and does not include any personally identifiable information (PII).

c. No Account Required

DurianRipe does not require user registration, does not collect names, emails, or contact information, and does not use tracking technologies like cookies or analytics SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data only to:

• Analyze the acoustic properties of the audio file for durian ripeness classification.
• Improve the accuracy and performance of our classification system.
• Monitor server load and prevent abuse.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sharing with third parties.

3. Data Retention

Uploaded audio files are deleted automatically after processing, typically within a few seconds. Aggregated classification logs (without audio) may be retained for performance and research purposes.
